English Premier League Live 2025/2026

Follow all the action with English Premier League live for the 2025/2026 season—featuring real-time scores, key moments, and match updates as they happen.

How to Watch Premier League Live in the UK

Based on the new Premier League TV deal, 287 live games will be broadcast in the UK each season, split between Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Sky Sports will show a minimum of 215 (from the previous 128) exclusive Premier League live matches, which is about 80% of all televised games. TNT Sports will broadcast the remaining 52 Premier League matches during the 2025/26 season.

TV Channels and Subscription Packages

To watch on Sky Sports, fans will typically need a Sky TV subscription with the Sky Sports package added on. In fact, Sky Sports also offers dedicated channels, including Sky Sports Premier League, which allows fans to stream on the go with the Sky Go app.

On the other hand, fans can get TNT Sports as an add-on to their existing TV package with providers like Sky, Virgin Media, or EE. TNT Sports content is also available to stream via the discovery+ app.

Streaming Platforms

Instead of long-term TV contracts, there are other flexible streaming options as well. NOW is Sky’s streaming service and a popular option for Premier League fans. A NOW Sports Membership gives you access to all 12 Sky Sports channels on a rolling contract. You can choose a Monthly Membership or a Day Membership, which is a good choice if you only want to watch a single game or weekend of matches.

Meanwhile, discovery+ is the streaming home for all TNT Sports content. You can subscribe to the discovery+ app directly for a monthly fee to get access to all TNT Sports channels and matches without needing a traditional TV package.

Free-to-Air Matches and Highlights

The number of free-to-air Premier League matches is very limited. In recent seasons, a handful of games have been shown on free channels like Sky’s Pick or the BBC. However, this is not guaranteed for every season. On the plus side, the BBC holds the rights for highlights.

The iconic Match of the Day and Match of the Day 2 shows on Saturday and Sunday nights provide extended highlights and analysis of all the weekend’s games. You can also watch these on BBC iPlayer.

International Streaming Options

The popularity of the Premier League has hit such global levels that during the last season, the number of overseas rights topped domestic rights to make history. For all the fans outside the UK, here’s where you can catch the Premier League live.

Premier League for USA Viewers

In the USA, NBC has the exclusive rights to broadcast the Premier League. You can watch matches on several streaming services. Major games are shown on the main NBC channel, while other matches are available on the USA Network.

Mobile & On-the-Go Viewing

While watching the game on the big screen is a thrilling experience, it’s not possible all the time. That’s why the Sky Sports app allows subscribers to stream all Premier League live matches and channels on their mobile devices. For all users, it offers free match highlights, real-time scores, news, and personalised updates. If you are a Sky Mobile customer, you can stream content without using your data.

There’s also the NOW app, which offers a flexible, non-contract way to stream all Sky Sports channels. You can buy daily or monthly passes, and for an extra cost, the ‘Boost’ add-on lets you stream in Full HD on multiple devices at once.

Apart from these two, there is the discovery+ app as well. By subscribing to a plan that includes TNT Sports, you can live-stream all their Premier League matches. The app also provides a premium viewing experience with select content in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos, along with interactive features that let you easily relive key moments.

Lastly, the official Premier League app is also a great companion for fans. While it’s not for watching live matches, it provides real-time scores, stats, and league table updates through its ‘Matchday Live’ feature.

Audio Broadcasts & Radio Options

For those who prefer to follow the Premier League through audio broadcasts, the primary options in the UK are talkSPORT and BBC Radio, both of which hold the exclusive live commentary rights. talkSPORT, a leading sports radio station, offers extensive live commentary on national radio via AM/DAB, their website, and a dedicated free app.

Meanwhile, the BBC provides coverage through Radio 5 Live for national matches and through local BBC radio stations for specific teams. Both services make it easy to listen on the go, whether you are using a traditional radio or their respective apps, like the talkSPORT app or BBC Sounds app.

This audio-only approach is actually a fun and often free way for fans to stay connected to the action. Moreover, it’s an excellent choice for anyone with limited mobile data, those who are commuting or travelling, or simply those who enjoy the classic experience of radio commentary. With these options, fans don’t have to miss even a single moment of the action-packed Premier League matches.
