Great Britain has an impressive athletics record at the Olympics. Team GB has won 55 Gold, 80 Silver, and 70 Bronze medals in Athletics at the Olympics. This year, Britain is sending a team of 327 sportspeople, out of which 63 will be competing in various athletics categories.
The UK Athletics Championships and Olympic Trials took place in Manchester, England on June 29-30. Athletes competed for 41 national titles at the Manchester Regional Arena.

Triathlon is one of the most challenging sports in the Olympics. The athletes participating in the triathlon are challenged in three distinct disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. The Olympic distance triathlon includes 1500m of swimming, 40km of cycling, and 10km of running, all done in succession.
