The darts calendar is packed with big tournaments in 2025.
From 8-9 August, fans can watch top PDC players in the Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong. The following weekend, August 15-16, the action rolls on to Auckland for the New Zealand Masters, another key leg of the World Series of Darts. This culminates in the World Series of Darts Finals on September 12-14 in Amsterdam.
Fall tournaments start in October. From October 6-12, the World Grand Prix will run in Leicester under the double-start format. Shortly after, fans can catch the European Championship in Dortmund on October 23-26.
Then there’s the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton from November 8-16, followed by the biggest event of all: the PDC World Darts Championship. The 2025-26 edition kicks off on December 11 at London’s Alexandra Palace and runs through January 3, 2026.
Luckily, there are several free darts live streams, so fans don’t have to travel all over the world to catch the action. You don’t even need a cable subscription to follow these events; just access to the Internet. Several platforms offer free darts streams online, including the official broadcasters.
In this post, we break down five of the best free darts live stream sites that fans in the UK can access.
ITVX / ITV4 – Free Broadcast Streaming
ITV4 and ITVX are among the best darts streaming sites for UK residents. These platforms regularly stream major PDC events at no cost, including the UK Open, The Masters, European Championship, and the Players Championship Finals.
You can access ITV’s coverage live or on demand through the ITVX app or website. It works on most devices like smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. All you need is a UK Internet connection and a free ITVX account. Note that it is only accessible to UK residents as you are asked to enter a postcode when signing up.
The quality of the stream is strong and steady. Their coverage also includes full matches, player interviews, expert commentary, and highlights. If you can’t catch the action live on TV, the on-demand feature lets you replay matches shortly after they’ve aired.
Please note that ITV4 doesn’t cover two major dart events: the World Championship and Premier League. Those streaming rights are held by Sky Sports and DAZN.
However, for all other tournaments, ITV is a good choice. Moreover, you can set reminders on the app when events approach so you won’t miss the action.
Pluto TV – MODUS Super Series Darts Channel
Pluto TV has a dedicated MODUS Super Series Darts channel for UK residents. If you don’t have access to the TV channel, you can catch their darts live stream for free. There’s no payment required. Dart fans only need to download the app or visit the website to start streaming.
We tried both platforms – the website streams straight away and doesn’t require sign-in. Although not signing in has its drawbacks, because you can’t save your favourite videos or set reminders for upcoming matches.
For the app, you will first need to make an account and confirm your email before you can start streaming.
The MODUS Super Series is a weekly darts competition that features top international players, both pro and legends. The matches are held in Portsmouth, UK, in a weekly tournament format. You can catch the live streams throughout the week.
Luke Littler, the World #1 contender, claimed two victories in this tournament. He first won in Season 3 of the series, defeating Jacob Taylor 4-1 in the final. Shortly afterward, he went on to win Season 4, beating Colin Osborne 4-2 in the final match. Both victories came in 2023 – his debut year.
He hasn’t participated since, but you can catch big names like Richie Howson (winner of Legends Week in 2025), Steve Beaton (regular in Legends Week), Martin Adams (regular in senior features), Colin Osborne, Mark Dudbridge, and Robert Thornton participating in this tournament.
Note that this streaming service is exclusive to the MODUS Super Series and doesn’t cover major events like the World Championship or UK Open. This free darts streaming site is ideal if you enjoy watching regular fixtures and want to spot rising talent.
Community & Social Platforms
There are several fan-led streaming services where you can catch amateur competitions. These community platforms don’t receive the rights to stream major tournaments, but they do offer a more personal and interactive way to experience the sport.
Kick.com is a popular platform if you are interested in fan-hosted commentary. You can stream local tournaments and watch real-time reactions to PDC events. It’s an informal setup, but the chat and live engagement give it a great vibe.
YouTube has the Live Darts TV channel with over 60,000 subscribers. While it also doesn’t show live PDC matches due to rights restrictions, you can catch interviews, analysis, and reaction videos during big events. Fans can also subscribe to additional channels like the MODUS Super Series Darts, the Professional Darts Corporation, and the Dart and Pint.
Twitch also has a growing darts community. If you search the Darts category on Twitch, you’ll find both casual and competitive streams. Most creators play live matches on camera. You’ll also find play-by-play commentary of pro events. Streamers can chat and ask questions in real time.
Note that due to restrictions, you’ll hardly catch a free darts live stream here for big matches. Stream these matches on ITVX or Pluto and use the community content platforms as an addition to the experience.
VPN Access to Sport1.de (Germany)
Sport1.de is a German broadcaster. It offers free streaming of major PDC events, including the World Darts Championship, Premier League Darts, and the European Championship. The service is geo-restricted and can only be accessed by viewers in Germany. However, UK fans can still access it by using a VPN.
Set your VPN location to Germany to visit Sport1.de. When we reviewed it using a German VPN, the site asked to disable the ad-blocker. There’s an option to log in, but it is not mandatory. Scroll to the top menu bar to find the darts section. Once you open the section, you’ll find in-depth news coverage of every dart event available. There’s a Live TV widget on top where you can stream matches in real-time.
This is yet another reliable way to watch a free dart live stream legally, without needing a subscription. Make sure to use a reputable VPN that protects your data and gives a fast speed.
