The Saudi Pro League, aka Roshn Saudi League (RSL), came under the limelight after international footballer Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2023. The league also saw some major signings after that and started drawing other international footballers like Neymar and Benzema, and even the Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard.
With a global pool of talent, now a major part of this league, the world couldn’t wait for it to kick off. And, after much anticipation, it finally commenced on August 22. The race for the title promises to be an enticing one this season as the fixtures were announced with a few entertaining changes.

Al Hilal will clash with Al Nassr, Al Ittihad will play against Al Ahli and Al Ettifaq will face Al Qadsiah.
The “Magic Rounds” are sure to draw attention from fans all over the world and add to the excitement already mounting high at the start of the league. Whether reigning champion Al Hilal will defend its title and gain a 20th victory in the league, or will Al Nassr defy its runner-up title and claim a win this season, or a dark horse will emerge and triumph, everything will unfold gradually along with the fixtures.
