It has been a while since the British & Irish Lions set foot on the Australian continent for a tour. As the team rotates their tours between Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, it is only once every 12 years that they meet each of these national teams. Their last tour of Australia took place in 2013.
The 2025 tour started on 28 June in Perth where the Lions faced Western Force. The tour consists of six warm up games against various Australian, Australian-based, or mixed teams. It also includes three Test matches against the Australian national rugby union team.
