Chinese Taipei

Women’s Archery Team
Korea
While the men’s recurve line-up is predictable, the women’s selection shocked many, as their entire contingent is inexperienced (barring one). World No. 2, Lim Sihyeon, will lead the team of rookies. The last Olympic winner, An San, was eliminated during the trials. Lim is the reigning Asian Games Champion and is expected to bag a medal at the women’s recurve event. Surprisingly, rookie Jeon Hunyoung has been chosen as the team captain.

PR China
PR China’s women’s team has delivered some impressive results, but they haven’t been consistent in their results. They have won a total of 3 Olympic medals (only 1 Gold). France
The French Olympic team is heading to their Archery home ground with a youthful team with one player competing at just 17 years of age (Batiste Addis). The Archery Olympics 2024 will begin on 25th July and conclude on 4th August. The event comprises five events: two individual competitions for men and women, two team competitions, and a mixed team competition.

- Katharina Bauer: Currently standing in the 10th position in the Recurve Women category, Katharina has been collecting medals from different tournaments since 2022. A consistent performer who clearly understands the stakes at the Olympics and is expected to up the game by a notch.
- Casey Kaufhold: Team USA’s Casey first competed at the age of 17 at the Tokyo Games, where she failed to make a mark. However, she has made tremendous progress and is currently ranked No. 1 by World Archery. She last won a silver medal at the World Championships in 2021. Casey has recorded significant improvements in international events.
