As we enter March, the National Hunt season is almost coming to an end. Of course, with the introduction of all-weather tracks, some racecourses conduct jump racing events all year round. But traditionally, their season is over in April, giving way to flat races until October.
History says people of Great Britain have been horse races enthusiasts at the very least since the 12th century, though it is quite possible they started enjoying it way earlier. In modern day Britain, horse racing is viewed as an indispensable cultural phenomenon.
