Rutuja Dumbre

Ever since I could remember, I always wanted to be a writer, but life dragged me into the Marketing field after completing my post-grad in Literature. After 2.5 years, I finally quit and started my freelancing journey, covering different domains like travel and tourism, home decor, and, of course, sports. As someone who has always been playing different sports, especially football, since I was a child, writing about it came effortlessly. Besides, exploring the iGaming industry and writing about it has been nothing short of an adventure.

Writing Approach

I think that content which can simplify the most complex concepts brings real value to readers. Let’s face it, something like poker or even certain betting markets can be pretty tough for rookies to understand. Naturally, they will look for the simplest explanation. So, every article that I write, I try to ensure that it gives the exact information that a player needs in the simplest way possible.

How Do You Stay Up to Date?

The official league websites are super helpful apart from the official club websites to keep track of the trends. Also, different communities also make it easy to stay in touch with what’s happening. For example, the 433 community is a very useful source for all things related to football. Meanwhile, the iGaming influencer, Benjamin “Bencb” Rollet’s content is pretty insightful, so I follow him as well.

Approximate published articles: I must have written more than 50 articles, but here are the ones that I really enjoyed writing.

Education & Languages

  • I hold a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature.
  • I can speak English and regional Indian languages like Hindi and Marathi.
