Le Bandit

While the cheeky racoon is already a hit success with his own game franchise “Le” from Hacksaw Gaming, the Le Bandit slot was the first one in the series. Released in August 2023, it quickly became one of the most popular games in the UK and the world, setting the foundation for multiple spin-offs.

At its core, the game is a 6x5 cluster-pays slot where Smokey the Racoon raids the backstreets and alleyways of Paris for loot. The game has plenty of unique mechanics, like the Golden Squares, as well as cascading wins. Le Bandit is available for real money play in the 7bet UK casino. How to Play Le Bandit?

Our experts advise that if you play slot games, such as Le Bandit, you should be familiar with how things work. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to start playing.

1. Set Your Bet. Find two arrow icons at the bottom of the screen. You can use them to adjust your bet. Our casino allows wagers between £0.10 and £5 per spin. Make sure to pick your bet size cleverly to avoid unnecessary strain on your bankroll.
2. Spin the Reels. You can tap the SPIN button or press SPACE if you’re playing on a desktop or notebook device to set the 6 reels in motion.
3. Watch for Wins. There aren’t any fixed lines in this game. Instead, the slot relies on Cluster-Pays, which reward the player for landing 5 or more identical symbols in a cluster. Special symbols are also present. WILDS substitute all paytable symbols. FS Scatter can trigger Free Spins and give Extra Spins, while others help get big payouts.

4. The title for the lowest-paying symbol is a 5-way tie among the card symbols 10, J, Q, K, and A.

Le Bandit Features

Le Bandit introduced many of the mechanics and visual ideas that later appeared across Hacksaw Gaming’s wider “Le” series. Players who prefer cluster-pays format and distinctive bonus features can also explore related titles such as Le Pharaoh and Le Fisherman, although each game has its own theme, symbols, and feature set.

If there’s one thing that Hacksaw Gaming likes to put in its games, it is distinctive special features. Le Bandit includes four main mechanics that can make each spin less predictable.

Super Cascades

If you know about regular tumble or cascading wins and like that mechanic, you will be intrigued to know that the Le Bandit slot takes it up a notch. In this 6x5 slot, a winning cluster removes all of the identical symbols from the grid. Then, new symbols tumble into the grid until no new wins can form. The Super Cascades feature helps a single spin snowball into multiple prizes. You can think of it as Remove all matches.

Golden Squares

Every cell on the grid that helps form a win lights up in gold. If a rainbow symbol appears on that same spin, all Golden Squares activate to reveal coins (Bronze, Silver or Gold), or special symbols.

The coins can have the following values

• Bronze: 0.2×–4× of your bet
• Silver: 5×–20× of your bet
• Gold: up to 500× of your bet

All of them are collected and can bring in big wins.

Multiplier & Collector Symbols

Once Coins are revealed, if special symbols (Multipliers & Collectors) are available, they take effect in turns.

Clovers (Multipliers) multiply adjacent cells (including Collector Pots) by x2-x10. Then, pots will collect all visible coin values and other Pot totals in a set order from top to bottom, from left to right.

After the final Pot is collected, Golden Squares re-activate, and the cycle can repeat before the final payout is added to your balance.

Free Spins Bonus Rounds

When you play Le Bandit online, you can encounter one of three Free Spins Bonus Rounds.

• Luck of the Bandit (3 FS SCATTERS) – 8 Free Spins where Golden Squares remain highlighted between spins, until (if at all) a rainbow appears to activate them. You can also retrigger Free Spins with new SCATTERS (2 SCATTERS = +2 Free Spins, 3 SCATTERS = +3 Free Spins)
• All that Glitters is Gold (4 FS SCATTERS) – 12 Free Spins with Golden Squares persisting throughout the bonus game.
• Treasure at the End of the Rainbow (5 FS SCATTERS) – 12 Free Spins as well, with the highlighted squares throughout and a Rainbow guarantee for every spin. This mode offers the highest win potential and is the most sought-after feature for players.

Le Bandit RTP, Volatility & Max Win
