The first day of the Saudi League was quite an eventful one with a goal from footballing superstar Ronaldo for his club Al Nassr against Al Raed. The match ended with a draw after Fouzair sent the ball into the net during a penalty for Al Raed. 

The second fixture between Al Wehda and Al Riyadh also ended in a tie, and the match saw a total of six goals, with 3 goals each. While Goodwin scored twice for Al Wehda, Kal scored the final equaliser for Al Riyadh.

The last fixture of the day resulted in Al Taawoun’s 1-0 victory over Al Fayha. Adam’s winning goal in extra time has given a lead to Al Taawoun on the table with 3 points.
