The VALORANT Champions Tour, or VCT, is Riot Games’ top-tier global esports circuit for the game VALORANT. It features a series of events held across four International Leagues: Americas, China, EMEA, and Pacific. They conclude in major international tournaments like Masters and Champions.
Excitement is mounting high for the VCT Masters Toronto, which is the second international LAN event of the 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour. From June 7 to June 22, the 12 top teams will clash in Toronto, Canada. This tournament is a precursor to VALORANT Champions 2025 in Paris, the ultimate world championship. Beyond the Masters title and prize money, teams will fiercely compete for Championship Points, which are crucial for qualifying.
Coming after VCT Masters Bangkok and before regional Stage 2 leagues, Masters Toronto provides the first real assessment of mid-year team performance globally. Here, top teams prove their dominance, showcasing thriving strategies and adapted rosters, and the event’s results impact the rest of the VCT season.

Tournament Format
VCT 2025: Masters Toronto tournament will commence with the Swiss Stage from June 7 to June 11. The eight teams participating in this phase are the second and third-place finishers from each of the four international leagues.
In the standard Swiss System, teams will be matched against opponents sharing their win-loss record, playing up to three rounds. For the opening round, each second-place team will face a third-place team from a different region. Since all matches are best-of-three (Bo3), every play counts.
Only the top four teams from the Swiss Stage move on to the playoffs, while the last four are eliminated. The top four teams will compete against the four winners of each international league in the Playoffs phase from June 13. These eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, where a team that loses twice is eliminated from the tournament.
The stakes are higher in the final round. As opposed to the playoff matches with a best-of-three, the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final will be thrilling best-of-five (Bo5) contests on June 22.

VCT Masters Toronto: Betting Odds
There are several ways to bet on the VCT 2025 Masters Toronto. Let’s look at some of the popular betting markets:
- Match winner: This is a straightforward bet where you place your stake on the team that’s likely to win.
- Map handicap: In VALORANT, matches are typically best-of-three (Bo3) or best-of-five (Bo5). A map handicap levels the playing field by giving one team a “head start” in terms of maps won. For instance, if you bet on Team A -1.5 maps, Team A needs to win by at least two maps (e.g., 2-0 in a best-of-three, or 3-0/3-1 in a best-of-five). Or, if you bet on Team B +1.5 maps, your bet wins if Team B wins the match or only loses by one map.
- Total rounds: Here, you bet on whether the total rounds played in a map or series will be higher or lower than a set number, for instance, over/under 20.5 rounds.
- Player props: These bets focus on individual player performance.
If you are interested in placing bets on these matches, 7bet offers a variety of Master Toronto betting markets to choose from. However, ensure that you adhere to all the responsible gambling practices before wagering your money.
