A single ticket costs \u00a33, while a return ticket costs \u00a35.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Feature Races at the Epsom Derby Festival<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Festival features 15 races, 7 on the first day and 8 on the second day. While the Oaks and the Derby are famous for allowing only 3 year old horses to compete, some of the featured races have different age requirements to cater to various interests of race goers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>The Epsom Oaks (Friday, 6 June 2025)<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conducted on the first day of the Epsom Festival, the Oaks is the highlight of the day. It is open to three year old fillies and is run over the distance of 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 6 yards (2,420 metres).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Oaks was inaugurated in 1779, a year before the Derby, making it the second oldest race among the Classics. It comes third in the season and is one of the top tier events for three year old fillies in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, there are 14 runners announced to compete in this year\u2019s competition, with six of them trained by the legendary Aidan O\u2019Brien.
