Thirty-two horses are running at the Grand National 2024 (two non-runners) on 13 April 2024. Last year, trainer Lucinda Russell\u2019s bay gelding, Corach Rambler, won the 4-mile race at Aintree. Gavin Cromwell\u2019s Vanillier finished a close second, losing out by just 2-lengths.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Grand National list boasts of tough competition as several successful horses are competing \u2013 I Am Maximus, winner of last year\u2019s Irish National, Meetingofthewaters, who registered two wins this season, Mr Incredible, who finished second at the Midlands National, 2022 Grand National winner Noble Yeats, among many more competitive horses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below, we give you the full list and details, including the names of horses running in the Grand National.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. NOBLE YEATS (Ireland)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Noble Yeats has registered several wins. It won the Grand Nationals in 2022 and came first at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival. Last year, he finished fourth at the Nationals, although this year, its excessive weight could be an issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. NASSALAM (France)<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nassalam was in excellent form in 2023. It won the Welsh Grand National by 35 lengths, and then again in the same month of December 2023 won the Coral Welsh Grand National Trial Handicap Chase. If it rains, the slow ground will definitely aid its performance as it prefers soft soil.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. COKO BEACH (France)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Coko Beach is one of the very few grey horses in the running. It won the races at Punchestown earlier this year, and Navan last year, and has several more finishes in the top three.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. I AM MAXIMUS (France)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Rachael Blackmore was the first <\/span>female jockey <\/span><\/a>to win a Grand National in 2021. The same year, her horse won the Cheltenham Gold Cup with another rider. Although age may not be in this 11-year-old bay gelding\u2019s favour to finish a four-mile race.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7. CORACH RAMBLER (Ireland)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Corach Rambler is one of the few horses running in Grand National to have two wins to its name \u2013 first in 2021, and the second last year when it won the Grand National. It has won eight races in its career. Although, this time around it weighs a stone more (six kgs).<\/span><\/p>\n

8. JANIDIL (France)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

11. DELTA WORK (France)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

He also came in second place in the Charlie Hall and the Betfair Chase. However, he was pulled up at the Ultima Handicap Chase in March this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The name roughly translates into laughter, although there\u2019s not much to smile about the horse\u2019s record. It finished 15th at last year\u2019s Grand National, and hasn\u2019t had a big win since January 2021, where it won the 3-mile race in Naas, Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n

32. KITTY\u2019S LIGHT (Ireland)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Horse Racing Non-Runners<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Horses can be taken out of the race for various reasons. It could range from fitness issues to faulty action at the starting stalls. The horse also becomes a non-runner if the rider is unfit.<\/span><\/p>\n

When a Grand National withdrawal happens, the bookmaker may pay your stake back. However, it depends on which bookmaker you go with. Also, make sure to opt for money-back markets. When non-runners are declared, the related money line becomes void, and your money is returned.<\/span><\/p>\n
